How often is the roadmap updated?

We update the roadmap whenever items change status — typically every 2-4 weeks. Items in "In Progress" are actively being worked on, while "Planned" items have been approved and are waiting for engineering capacity.

Can I influence the roadmap?

Yes! Visit our Recommend a Tool page to suggest features. Ideas with high community demand get prioritized. We've already shipped 18 tools that originated from user suggestions.

What does "Exploring" mean?

Items in the Exploring phase are ideas we're researching and prototyping. They may or may not become shipped features depending on technical feasibility, browser API support, and community interest.

Will all planned features remain free?

Our core philosophy is that essential image tools should always be free. Some advanced features (like batch processing beyond 50 images or the upcoming API) may be part of the optional Pro tier, but the core tools will never require payment.

How long does it take for items to move from Planned to Shipping?

It varies by complexity. Simple tools can go from Planned to Shipping in 2-3 weeks. Complex AI tools typically take 1-3 months. Items in the Exploring phase have the longest timeline since we're still evaluating feasibility.
