Reporting FAQ

Everything you need to know about reporting issues to Pixly.

What information should I include in a bug report?

The more detail, the better. Include: the tool you were using, your browser and version, the image format and size, step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue, and any error messages you saw. Screenshots are incredibly helpful.

How quickly will you respond?

We respond to every report within 24 hours, often much sooner. Critical bugs and security vulnerabilities are prioritized and may receive an immediate response.

I found a security vulnerability — should I report it publicly?

Please report security vulnerabilities privately through this form or by emailing us directly. We follow responsible disclosure and will credit you once the fix is deployed. Do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities until we've had time to address them.

My image didn't process correctly — is that a bug?

It might be! Some edge cases (unusual formats, very large images, specific color profiles) can cause unexpected results. Please report it with details about the image and what you expected vs. what happened.

Can I report a bug on Twitter or GitHub?

Yes — you can mention us on Twitter or open an issue on GitHub. However, for detailed reports and security issues, this form ensures we have all the information we need and can track the issue properly.
